• You can use manual annotations instead of optional AI annotation.
• You can hide or rename sensitive paths before export or AI annotation.

We use industry-standard safeguards and retain data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy.

• All data transmitted between your browser and dir-tree uses HTTPS encryption.
• Directory tree editing, local ZIP parsing, rendering, and export are designed to run in your browser.
• Repository access tokens are kept in memory for the current page session and are not written to browser storage by dir-tree.
• Optional server-side workflows, such as AI annotation, are protected with reasonable access, logging, and abuse-prevention controls.
• Directory tree data processed in the browser is not stored on dir-tree servers and is cleared when you close the tab or clear browser storage.
• Website analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings and is not linked to directory tree content.
• No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
